UWO Welcomes CaRMS Candidates!

As the 2012 CaRMS season starts to heat up, London would like to welcome those interviewing here for positions in the FRCPC Emergency Medicine program!  We'll be hosting a Meet and Greet on Sunday Jan 29 at 7:30pm for pool, bowling and a casual dinner. The next morning you'll be coming to the Victoria Hospital for interviews There will be an opportunity to tour the hospitals and London in both mornings and afternoon with one of our residents.

Thanks to the program directors, the residency training committee and all other staff for their mentorship, teaching and exam preparation over the past 5 years. Well done ladies!


London Welcomes 2011 CaRMS Candidates!

The University of Western Ontario Royal College Emergency Medicine Program would like to welcome the 2011 CaRMS Candidates to London! We are looking forwards to meeting everyone at our casual social event at the Palasad (bowling, pool, food, fun) on the evening of January 31 followed by interviews on Tuesday Feb 1 at the Victoria Hospital. In addition we'll be giving tours of London on interview day so you have a chance to explore our awesome city and ask any questions. Feel free to explore the website for information about our program and if there are any questions you can't find the answer to don't hesitate to email any of the Emerg residents. Good luck and safe travels...we'll see you at the end of January!


The FRCP Residents

Welcome 2011 FRCP Candidates!

The University of Western Ontario FRCP Emergency Medicine program and current residents are getting ready to welcome applicants to London for CaRMS interviews set for Tuesday,Feb 1 at 8 am. However, we are also looking forward to a fun and casual "Meet and Greet" for everyone on the evening of Monday, January 31,2011. Those candidates interviewing in the afternoon will have the opportunity to go on a citywide tour of London including its hospitals, UWO campus, Richmond Row and other highlights. Candidates interview in the morning, don't fret you'll have an opportunity to join us on the tour in the afternoon!

Information about the Emergency Departments in London, our Emergency Medicine program at Western as well as London itself can be found on our website. However if there are any questions you have, please don't hesitate to email any of the residents.

Good luck with your interviews and travel safe. We're looking forward to seeing you in London at the end of January!!

If you need to request time off while on a department of medicine rotation (see list below), head to the department of medicine website then login with your username and password.

Pagers for UH Rotations: Pickup / Drop off in Education Office, Room ALL140. After hours drop off in mail box outside Room ALL203 (Mail Room). Place in envelope clearly marked Department of Medicine. Please inform us either by email or voice mail that you dropped pager in mail box.
