2 Resident Awards, a Plenary Presentation and 20 UWO Emerg Research Abstracts Accepted for CAEP 2013!

CAEP 2013

I am extremely pleased to announce that all 20 abstracts submitted to CAEP (Vancouver June 1-5 2013) have been accepted for presentation!

It is with great pleasure and excitement to announce that the abstracts submitted by Dr. Danny Peterson (PGY-5) and Dr. Sameer Mal (PGY-5) have been ranked among the top 8 resident abstracts submitted this year!

As such, Danny and Sameer have each been awarded one of the 8 CAEP 2013 Resident Research Abstract Awards (which includes $500 and a complimentary CAEP 2013 registration). Recognition will also be given in the Canadian Journal of Emergency Medicine (CJEM) and on the CAEP website.

Additionally, Sameer has been awarded the Top CAEP Resident Research Abstract Award and will be presenting in the Top 4 plenary session on Tues June 4th at 9:15! Danny will be giving an oral presentation on Sun June 2nd at 10:15. Please join me in congratulating Danny and Sameer on their outstanding success! They will be presenting their study results at RRD 2013 on April 25th so be sure to come out and support them.
